Our foals are the product of careful planning and are allowed every opportunity to thrive in their environment.  Turnout is maximized and all foals are gently handled from birth, with the mare present.  Farrier visits begin at six to eight weeks. At two months of age, foals are introduced to Buckeye Foal Starter (millk pellets) and at three and a half months, they are introduced to Buckeye Growth in order to provide them with supplemental nutrients for steady growth.  Foal growth is monitored frequently and intake adjusted using our custom feed program. At 6 months, foals begin their courses of vaccinations.  Foal weaning time is individually determined.  Our goals is to raise foals that are strong, healthy, well mannered and socialized.

All Greytail Farm bred horses are inspected and registered, branded, micro-chipped and carry the GT suffix.
